TURKEY MEATLOAF
You will need:
Celery, onion, bell peppers, about 1 ½ lbs of any ground LEAN meat, rolled oats, 4 egg whites
To prepare:
Chop/dice 3 celery sticks
Chop/dice ½ onion
Chop/dice ¼ red bell pepper
Chop/dice ¼ green bell pepper
Put all diced veggies into a large mixing bowl. Add your choice of ground lean meat and mix together.
Add egg whites to bowl and mix thoroughly. Stir in ½ c. rolled oats.
After all ingredients are thoroughly combined, press mixture into a square baking (casserole type) dish
To cook:
Cover with foil and bake at 400* for 40min (or until meat is thoroughly cooked).
Top with ketchup if you like (just remember that ketchup is high in sugar (contains high fructose corn syrup). You may search for an alternative with no sugar.
